The underdog’s fantastic performance earned him praise from Hearn, who has close ties to Haney.

And when the promoter greeted Garcia during a backstage interview, he was interrupted by the fighter’s father, Henry.

He walked past and shouted in an X-rated fit: “That’s what you get. You’re a piece of shit.”

Hear back: “Oh really? F*** you. F*** you. What are you talking about?”

Garcia Sr then grabbed his genitals and made a rude gesture as he continued: “F*** you, you know you’re a piece of shit and that’s what you get.”

“What are you going to say? Luke Campbell and Devin Haney, fuck you. Who do you have?”

Hearn responded with the name of welterweight titleholder Jaron Ennis, who recently joined Matchroom Boxing.

And it managed to ensure that the war of words stopped immediately.

Garcia Sr then walked up to Hearn and shook his hand as they hugged.

He apologized for his outburst and the couple all smiled.

Hearn said: “It’s a sport and if you win I’ll give you all the respect you deserve. I accept your apology.”

He was then thanked by Garcia’s father as he revealed that he had just been in his dressing room and congratulated him on his win.

Fans responded to the dispute: “Fastest beef ever.”

Another said: “Folded up so quickly.”

A third commented: “Respect for Eddie though.”
