Starboard introduces the Curators of Style initiative on Celebrity Cruises

Starboard introduces Curators of Stylea new initiative tailored to guests of Celebrity cruises.

The purpose of the concept is to spark inspiration and guide Celebrity guests on their personal journey of self-expression through their clothing choices and the lifestyle they enjoy.

Starboard President and CEO Lisa Bauer said: “Celebrity guests enjoy the enhanced design and personalized lifestyle experience the brand delivers in their fleet; and now, together with our Curators of Style, we will further enrich their cruise vacation with inspiring, relatable stories as they explore their journeys of self-expression through exciting fashion and lifestyle choices.”

Immersive in-store activations offer one-on-one interactions with the curators, each orchestrated to be engaging and provide a unique experience for guests.

The Curators of Style are a group of brand founders, tastemakers and thought leaders who collectively enhance the onboard experience by bringing their perspectives, curated selections and impactful contributions to the table. Immersive in-store activations and captured content showcased across platforms, including the Celebrity Cruises website, onboard signage and stateroom television programming, allow guests to explore their own sense of style and different aspects of their personality and mood to reflect through clothing and entertainment at home.

Guests can expect to connect with and learn from the experts while being guided on their own journey of self-discovery. The list of guests is:

Seth Weisser, co-founder and CEO of What Goes Around Comes Around (WGACA):
Seth Weisser is known as an expert on luxury vintage and co-founded What Goes Around Comes Around (WGACA), the curator of pre-owned luxury goods and vintage clothing. For more than 30 years, the company has advocated the importance of accessibility and sustainability in the fashion industry, while setting authenticity standards and educating consumers about the value of vintage products.

Soraya Cedeno, Founder and Creative Director, Organic Tagua Jewelry:
Inspired by the skilled artisans of her Ecuadorian coastal village, Soraya founded Cedeno Organic Tagua Jewelry with a focus on eco-friendly and sustainable craftsmanship. With each piece of jewelry, Tagua invites guests to come into contact with the stories behind the jewelry.

Marcy Rudershausen, Senior Master of Whisky, Diageo:
As the first woman (and Latina) to be named Master of Whiskey and with more than 24 years of experience in the whiskey industry, Marcy Rudershausen travels the world educating consumers and sales teams on the intricacies of whiskey and various categories strong liquors. Marcy has been inducted into Keepers of the Quaich – an exclusive international association to recognise, reward and celebrate those who have shown extraordinary commitment to the Scotch whiskey industry. Marcy has served as an experienced judge at the World Whiskies Awards and World Drinks Awards.
