Chris Brown Claims Everyone Wished Quavo Died Instead of Taking Off in New Diss Track: Celebrities: Enstarz

Chris Brown and Quavo’s beef is still alive and well, based on the former’s latest diss track against the latter.

On Saturday, Brown dropped his latest song, “Weakest Link.” In the song, he mentioned Quavo’s name and didn’t hesitate to attack the Migos member, even claiming that everyone wished Quavo died instead of Takeoff during the 2022 Houston shooting.

“Quavo talkin’ like he a thug, n***a, you with dreadlocks (You’re ***h) / I can’t wait to see the day you back up all that stuff** You said (You on) / What all you talking about? You ain’t no hunch, nigga (You ain’t no hunch) / You’re the weakest link in your clique, let’s keep it at a hundred, n***a (Hundred) ,” Brown sings.

“RIP Takeoff, he the one and only who got real respect / Crazy how when he died, everyone really wished it was you (Oh shitbrrah) / You’re tripping, Chris, don’t say that, don’t lose your head (damn).”

Weeks before the release of “Weakest Link,” Brown made a snide comment to Quavo in his song “Freak,” Billboard reported.

“F*****g, my old b*****s ain’t gone, make us equal/ Sipping on that 1942 ’cause I don’t do Quavo/ Freak b***h she like Casamigos, don’t of the Migos”, read part of the text.

The outlet claimed that the viral lyrics seemingly alluded to Quavo’s romantic ties to Karrueche Tran, whom Brown dated four years earlier.

Brown and Quavo were friends before the feud. They even collaborated on Brown’s “Whippin,” released in 2016, and Migos’ 2015 song “Just For Tonight.”

The feud between the two musicians reportedly started when the Migos rapper was spotted with Tran. She had an on-again, off-again relationship with Brown in the early 2010s, but filed a restraining order against the “Superhuman” singer in May 2017.

A month earlier, Tran sparked dating rumors with Quavo after they were seen leaving a Migos concert in Mississippi together. According to TMZ, Brown felt betrayed when Quavo started dating Tran.

At the time, Brown helped promote Migos’ album ‘Culture’, but later discovered that Quavo was secretly dating his ex-girlfriend. The outlet noted that Brown considered Migos “my true friends and brothers.”

“I will never hate you guys,” Brown added before getting into an argument with Quavo.
