Sri Lanka’s tourism sector is expected to get a boost from Indian pilgrims with the official launch of the Shree Ramayan Trails project.

The Indo-Sri Lankan cultural project aims to attract millions of Indian and international Hindu pilgrims, travelers and tourists to Sri Lanka by offering the pilgrimage to nine holy places across Sri Lanka as mentioned in the epic Ramayana.

The nine revered sites, stretching from Adam’s Bridge in the Mannar Basin to Seetha Eliya in Nuwara Eliya, will be showcased using cutting-edge technology and innovative tourism methodologies.
